Samedi 19 octobre, nous irons faire une randonnée dans les Laurentides dans le coin de Ste-Adèle, avec un échange linguistique anglais-français. C’est un coin magnifique avec un beau réseau de sentiers. Nous allons parcourir jusqu’à 15 km, parfois un peu accidenté, pas excessivement technique mais quand même dans des petits sentiers en forêt, à une vitesse « moyenne ». La moitié de la journée se passera en français et l’autre moitié en anglais (mais bienvenue à tous, peu importe votre niveau). L’activité aura lieu beau temps, mauvais temps, et on ajustera le parcours en fonction de la météo. Je vais organiser du covoiturage depuis une station de métro à Montréal. Départ autour de 8h30, retour en fin d’après-midi, début de soirée. Coût : 15$ plus taxes (entre 0-15$ pour nouveaux arrivants à faible revenu) plus contribution au covoiturage . Places limitées. On Saturday October 19, we’ll go for a hike in the Laurentians in the Ste Adèle area, and do a French-English exchange at the same time! It’s a gorgeous place with a nice trail network. We’ll do up to 15 km of hiking, sometimes some ups and downs, nothing too technical but on small forest trails, at an « average » pace. Half the day will happen in French and half in English so it will be a great chance to practice your language skills (but please feel free to come with us, no matter what your level!). The hike will take place rain or shine – we will adjust the route depending on the weather. I will organize carpooling from a metro station in Montreal. We’ll meet around 8:30 am, and return in late afternoon/early evening. Cost: $15 plus tax ($0-$15 for low-income newcomers to Canada), plus a contribution toward carpooling and/or car rental .
