Donner l'hiver en cadeau 2018

Make a charitable donation to help a low-income newcomer to Canada have fun outdoors this winter! $40 is the average price it takes for us to help one low-income newcomer try winter sports, defraying the cost of gear and instruction. Let’s raise $2000 by Dec. 31st to help 50 newcomers try cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and skating, a great way to adapt to our coldest season!

Here’s how: click here, on the Maison de l’amitié (our partner organisation’s) online donation page. Follow the instructions and don’t forget to select/indicate “Intercultural Outdoor Recreation”. When you’re done, please e-mail me at pleinair@miltonpark.org to let me know you’ve donated so I can thank you right away! A charitable receipt issued by Canada Helps on behalf of the Maison de l’amitié de Montréal will automatically be sent to you. I’ll also write to you at the end of the winter to tell you exactly who you helped and what they thought of the winter!

Thank you so much for supporting the Intercultural Outdoor Recreation Program, a joint initiative of the Milton Park Recreation Association and the Maison de l’amitié de Montréal (a registered charity).  Last winter, thanks to your generous donations, new Canadians from over 30 different countries were able to take part in our winter outings. We’ve been offering this winter program since 2011, and our organizations have been delivering accessible programming to a diverse clientele for decades.

If donating isn’t possible right now, never fear! You can help by liking and sharing our page https://www.facebook.com/Soutenirpleinairinterculturel, telling a friend about our program and activities, sharing this message, or signing up for an activity. Thank you so much for your time, consideration and help!
