Try Camping This Summer!

What could be more fun than spending a night outdoors in a tent, and
waking up to the sound of birds singing? To try camping in Montreal or out of
town, here are a few options:

Parks
Canada will organise learn to camp overnight events along the Lachine Canal
on the following dates: July 6-7, August 3-4 and August 17-18. They provide a

Parcours Gouin is organising a learn to camp overnight along the Rivière
des Prairies in the north of Montreal on August 10th for only $5
per person, including a spot in a tent, camping mat, activities, and breakfast:

The Intercultural Outdoor Recreation Program is
organising an introduction to
canoe-camping weekend July 19-21. Learn to canoe and camp away from
civilization, far from electricity and cell phones! You don’t need any
experience, gear or car to participate. This is an activity aimed at adults
