Follow the De Montigny Stream all the way to its secret source in Anjou! This hidden place even has actual waterfalls – yes, waterfalls, right in the middle of Montréal! During this urban hike, we will also do a French-English language exchange, have a picnic, and discuss water conservation issues in Montreal. We will walk a distance of 6-8 km, sometimes along rustic trails.
Date: Sunday November 15th (new, tentative date) from 9:45 am – 2:30 pm (approximate end time)
Location: Meet directly at the park at Perras Boulevard and Ozias-Leduc Street. Please note that the hike will end in Anjou (we won’t return to the starting point).
Cost: $15 plus taxes ($5 for low-income newcomers to Canada). - The language exchange component will happen while we are on wider trails.
